ABOUT US
Our Mission
At postgreen the integrity and positive impact of each of our developments is of utmost importance to the success of our company. The success of each project is gauged using a triple-bottom-line approach that ensures that we maintain this mission. Using a triple-bottom-line system of measurement for our projects takes into account the impact we will have on People, Planet and Profit.
People
Postgreen has a responsibility to create buildings and communities that will positively impact the health, comfort and happiness of the people living, working and interacting in them.
Planet
Postgreen has a responsibility to the planet that we all inhabit. Postgreen takes great measure to reduce the impact on the environment by following (and when possible, exceeding) the LEED guidelines provided the the US Green Building Council.
Profit
Postgreen has a responsibility to return a competitive rate of return to its investors, partners and team-members on each project.
Our Location
Postgreen is located in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia just north of center city. Surrounding Fishtown are the neighborhoods of Northern Liberties, Kensington and Port Richmond. This area was chosen in 2005 as the perfect place to start a forward-thinking development company like postgreen as well as an ideal place to live and raise a family.
There is a unique mixture of life-time and new residents looking for an accessible place to live and work that still has a neighborhood feel. It is home to many artists and entrepreneurs with new businesses, cafes and artist studios popping up monthly.
There are multiple commercial corridors within this section of Philadelphia which are primed for redevelopment and promise to continue the revitalization of the bordering neighborhoods. These corridors include 2nd St, Girard Ave and Frankford Ave. There are neighborhood groups, neighborhood business associations and Community Developement Corporations (CDCs) all actively working to ensure that these corridors are developed properly to maintain the integrity of the surrounding neighborhoods.
