At postgreen the integrity and positive impact of each of our developments is of utmost importance to the success of our company. The success of each project is gauged using a triple-bottom-line approach that ensures that we maintain this mission. Using a triple-bottom-line system of measurement for our projects takes into account the impact we will have on People, Planet and Profit.

People

Postgreen has a responsibility to create buildings and communities that will positively impact the health, comfort and happiness of the people living, working and interacting in them.

Planet

Postgreen has a responsibility to the planet that we all inhabit. Postgreen takes great measure to reduce the impact on the environment by following (and when possible, exceeding) the LEED guidelines provided the the US Green Building Council.

Profit

Postgreen has a responsibility to return a competitive rate of return to its investors, partners and team-members on each project.

Our Team

Chad Ludeman – President
Chad has a degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering from Grove City College. After graduating, he spent eight years at Metrologic Instruments working various jobs in an effort to prepare for business ownership.  This included time in manufacturing, management, purchasing, scheduling and marketing. He eventually honed his skills in marketing by assuming the head marketing role for Metrologic’s Software Business Unit. While finishing up his term at Metrologic, Chad used his engineering background to thoroughly study all aspects of green building, modern prefab and building science. With this knowledge and his expertise in marketing, Chad founded Postgreen.

Courtney Ludeman – CFO
Courtney has a degree in Finance which she utilized on the Philadelphia Stock Market during the first years of her career. At JFD Securities, Courtney managed the overall business while handling multi-million dollar transactions between Philadelphia, NYC and Chicago on a daily basis. Courtney transitioned into the Real Estate Sales business in 2004 with Coldwell Banker Preferred, andquickly partnered with Tim Stokes, the top agent with Coldwell, to form the Stokes Group. Courtney has developed the team into one of the largest producing real estate teams in Philadelphia. At Postgreen, Courtney handles all sales and purchase deals, company financials and advises on the current state of the real estate market. Courtney was integral to Postgreen developing homes that could o be sold quickly in the $200K – $400K range.

Nic Darling – CMO
Nic is the Chief Marketing Officer for Postgreen. In this position, he manages the team’s marketing efforts and also handles press interactions and speaking engagements.  Prior to joining Postgreen, Nic helped establish Universe Point, a startup software company as their Director of Marketing. He left the growing company with a well established brand identity and a robust marketing plan. Nic has also provided independent consulting and design work for a variety of companies including property management firms, sales organizations and non-profits.  His expertise in online marketing, branding, writing and design make him an invaluable asset, particularly in the introduction and establishment of new products.

Mark Hutchinson – Business Manager
Mark has a degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. Prior to joining Postgreen, he worked in finance in New York. First as a Senior Associate with Moody’s in their structured finance group and then as a Portfolio Analyst with New Holland Capital, the special adviser for the $10B of hedge fund investments made by ABP, the third-largest pension fund in the world. Mark then got the sustainability bug and joined Postgreen in 2010. At Postgreen Mark’s primary responsibility is interfacing between the construction team and our financers, this includes creating pro-formas for new projects as well as managing the construction schedule and bank draws during construction.

Future Developments

Postgreen intends develop the following types of projects in the next five years in the Fishtown, Kensington and Northern Liberties neighborhoods of Philadelphia:

  • small scale residential projects consisting of unique, modern and green living spaces
  • commercial and mixed-use buildings along the developing Girard Ave and Frankford Ave corridors
  • low to moderate income housing with modern and green design to keep our artists, entrepreneurs and working class in the neighborhood
